Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is additional government funding allocated to schools to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and ensure they have the same opportunities as their peers.

We use this funding to strengthen high‑quality teaching, provide targeted academic support, and widen access to enriching experiences. This includes additional adults in classrooms, small‑group and 1:1 interventions, language‑rich provision, pastoral support, and access to enrichment that supports confidence and wellbeing.

Our strategy focuses on removing barriers, improving outcomes, and ensuring every child can achieve their very best.

Schools are free to spend the Pupil Premium as they see fit. We are held accountable for how we have used the additional funding to support pupils from low-income families and each year we publish a statement which details how we spend this funding which you can view below.

Children eligible for Pupil Premium at our school typically make much better progress than those nationally.
